Thornwood Saga

Thornwood Saga is a proper role-playing game that respects the mobile format. You gather a party, level them through a branching story, and make dialogue choices that occasionally bite you later. The writing is better than we expected from a phone RPG.

Combat is turn-based and readable. Every skill has a clear purpose, so building a party feels like solving a small puzzle rather than min-maxing spreadsheets. We spent a good while just experimenting with team combinations.

It's not a short game. If you want something to sink real hours into over a few weeks, this fits. The map is generous and there's plenty tucked into side quests.
