Nitro Crestline
★★★★☆ 4.1
Nitro Crestline goes all in on arcade racing. Tracks are wide, drifts are exaggerated, and the sense of speed is genuinely fun. This isn't a simulator and doesn't try to be, which we respect.
The tilt and touch controls both work, and you can switch between them. We ended up preferring the on-screen steering for precision on tighter corners. Car handling is forgiving enough that beginners won't rage-quit.
There's a decent progression of tracks and unlockable vehicles to chase. It runs smoothly even on older phones, which is a bigger deal than it sounds for a racing game.
What we liked
- Strong sense of speed
- Two control options
- Runs well on older devices
