Lanterns of Ashmere

Lanterns of Ashmere is a slow-burn adventure with a strong atmosphere. You wander a quiet, foggy town, solve environmental puzzles, and piece together what happened to the place. The hand-drawn art carries a lot of the mood.

Puzzles are mostly logical rather than obscure. A couple stumped us for a bit, but nothing felt unfair. We liked that hints exist but the game never forces them on you.

It's a game to play with headphones. The sound design does heavy lifting, and the pacing rewards patience. Not for everyone, but if you like atmospheric stories it's a treat.
